Vitamin C is abundant in myriad foods (i.e., citrus fruits, leafy and dark green vegetables, and red bell peppers). If you're the type who has challenges designing a diet around nutrition you have the option to purchase Vitamin C supplements of 500 to 1000 milligrams taken daily will suffice. As little as 400 milligrams of vitamin E provides adequate protection. Vitamins that significantly improve skin health, tone, reduces wrinkles and control acne are Vitamins K and A. For those who have more mature aging skin, antioxidants like alpha-liopoic acid and DMAE are good prevention vitamins against aging skin and neutralizing cell damage caused by outdoor environmental factors. The application of serums and creams with the natural, organic products and the same essential vitamins and minerals are also essential in maintaining the skin's vitality and youth. Like anything, when applied regularly, once or twice daily, they offer an added layer of protection to already healthy skin regimens. Topical products are best applied immediately after gentle, thorough cleansing to allow maximum absorption.
